What to Bring


guided mountain lion hunts

Proof of Hunter Education or Hunting License from another state or province if born after January 1st, 1960.

Be sure to bring the yellow copy "carbon copy" of your contract when you arrive

Flash Light or head lamp.

Dress in layers and clothes that make it easy to walk, hike, ride horses in etc....

Example of Practical choice of clothes:
One-Two layers of thermal underwear top and bottom
an insulated coat with insulated gloves
wool pants
blue jeans
Carhart jeans
snow gaiters
light weight insulated hiking boots - containing Goretex and 200-400 grams of Thinsulate
wool socks/heavy cotton socks

Remember:
Dress in layers
(This allows you to shed layers as you get warm and put them back on as you cool. This practice keeps you comfortable while hiking, riding a horse, ATV or snow machine.)
Blue jeans or Carhart type jeans are more practical
Insulated or uninsulated are both fine depending upon your preference

"It's a good idea to arrive or to book your flight so you arrive the night before your hunt date starts and your flight going back is the day after your hunt date ends. This is to utilize as much of your scheduled hunt as possible."
